LG split - we have been using them since last 4 odd years and have purchased more in the years to have followed.   The ACS are low priced and so makes them value for money considering that the performance , support etc are complete paisa vasool.
The cooling is decent, air thru is average and could have been better ( splits have a lesser air thru than window acs ), the installation of split is diff and with time their engineers are getting better as the guys who install are under contract and not direct employees of the company, the AMC is done quickly and also the calls attended fast.
Stray cases of bad experience have been there but as the pricing is reasonable it makes up for it.  The bad cases are those whose installation results in a leakage of water and that usually happens at the joint right at the AC which is attended to by giving it packing properly.   I have experienced it once and had to face a uphill task as my furniture almost got badly damaged but the top people from the company came to inspect and attend to it when I made a complaint.  This impressed me that they have a positive attitude rather than one where they make a sale and then forget us consumers.
Ill buy a LG split even in future if the requirement arises.
