I could never imagine something this good by LG......
It was quite an experiment to wander beyond the world of Nokia but nonetheless, rewarding....
The best part of this phone is by far its Price...... Costing a mere Rs8,200 (with 2 year warranty + 1 yr theft insurance) it's a much better purchase than a Nokia....
The Tops :
1) 65,000 Colour Screen.... 128 * 128 Pixels....... I wonder what a Nokia phone with that would cost.....
2) Java Enabled..... Allows us to d'load Java Games and Applications..... The only problem is... FROM WHERE? Few providers seem to mention LG as a compatible set... especially mine (LG 5300i).......
3) Polyphonic Ring tones..... The ring tones on this phone are MUCH louder than on a Nokia phone... So You're BOUND to hear it unlike in the case of Nokia phones where one has to strain his/her ears to be able to hear it ringing in a noisy room.... You can d'load ring tones ofcourse ....
4) Animated Background : I just DIG the aquarium wallpaper in this phone... the others, though still, are quite amazing......
5) Keypad tones..... Unlike Nokia, here you have a choice of roughly 4-5 tones for the keypad..... Wish to hear a puppy bark every time you press a key?
6) MMS and templates...... There are inbuilt templates for occasions such as christmas, birthdays, new-year etc. with animated video and sound ofcourse ....
7) Capacity.... The amazing part of the phone is its memory..... which is by far, more than most of the Nokia phones I've seen....
8) Shell out a little more an you can buy a Data Transfer cable, connect ot to your PC and transfer away......
The Flops :
1) Its built.... Not the most attractive Phone you can buy
2) No Infrared Reception ...... but then again, you didn't pay too much for it either....
3) Unchangeable Panels..... you're stuck with that same look as long as you have that phone.....
