LG G5300 is good mid-level colour phone. I have it for the past 9 months.

I will summarize some good and bad points of it.

Its main competitor is Nokia 6610.

Good:

  1. Excellent colour screen.

  2. High quality finishing.

  3. Far better user interface & menus as compared to Nokia 6610

  4. Ring tone sound is really good.

  5. Intellisence (T9) for typing SMS really effective.

Bad:

  1. Data cable and charger go in same slot. So while browsing the internet using

GPRS service, you can either browse or charge the cell. And if you just browse with

GPRS, it can be used for a max of 3 hours. Battery life for browsing with GPRS bit

short compared to other LG phones in the same range(Max 3 hours).

  1. No four way navigation key like in Nokia 6610

  2. No periodic SMS alerts.

  3. No Infrared port, but that is not a very big feature for people of this segment

Overall , recommended over Nokia 6610, even if it dosen't have a FM radio and Infrared port
