We have purchased LG washing M/c F8068LDP 4 year before as it is latest with direct drive at that time.
Now it stopped on 8/Jul/16 and we could register compllaint only on 12/Jul/16 as no one picking up phone.(Complaint Number: 160708011770 Date: 12.Jul.2016). The customer care technician visited on 12/Jul/16 saying display penal to be changed.
Thereafter we are miserably handled by customer care staff . not lifting phone, lifting phone and kept aside, no proper reply, not giving line to their supervisor / superior.etc. Ultimately we got number of some Mr Pragyesh from LG Korea Headquarter at Seoul.
When contacted, not lifting phone but after hour or so called back with shocking news that the part not available in India to be imported and will arrive on 27/Jul/16 only.
This model already in market and not instinct but they don't have parts.
When argued with him he said warranty is already expired.
My argument is as per LG warranty for Direct Drive motor is for 8 years and the motor not getting started and hence it is covered under warranty period.
When said what I can do for so many days without washing machine you please give alternate m/c till it get repair. Instead of providing alternate he says will buy back at 15% of value.
It is definite case of irresponsible after sales service.
I further say it LG unable to provide after sales services their customer they should windup their business from India.
