I bought LG F12A8CDP2 2 years ago. I got some problem and registered a complaint in service center.


Below is sequence of activities:




  • 5th July: Call logged with LG service center. RNA160705026474. Assigned to a technician.




  • 6th July: No calls .




  • 7th July: I called assigned Technician. Came to know that he is sick. Gave me number of his supervisor . This shows the lack of tracking of service request. Why should I call supervisor . Isnt it duty of LG staff to check . Anyways, called the person. Got a new technician assigned. The person came and said motor has to be replaced and it will take 2 days .




  • 8th July: No calls




  • 9th July: No calls.




  • 10th July: I called the technician 5 times. No reply. Got a call back saying it will be done soon. I dont know what is the status of request.Why is there no tracking system? Why is the customer not made aware of current status. I was so frustrated that I called Customer care. To my disbelief, they are giving me number of local supervisor and asking me to call him and check . Why should I call and check? It is responsibility of customer care.




  • 11th July: Same as 10th July




  • 12th July: Finally the technician arrived with part. The machine was not working after installation of new part. The technician was total clue less as to what the problems is. He suggested that we have to replace 2 more parts. Again, Why was the proper diagnosis not done on first time? Why everyone talking about replacing parts? Better give me a new machine.




  • 13th July:No respone




  • 14th July: Got a call that machine cannot repaired at home and has to be transported to service center. Main reason cited was it is a major repair and technician cannot spent that much time at customer's home. I was asked to pay money for transportation. I fought very hard with technician. It is not about money. Then they agreed to waive off. Why was the charge asked for in the first place? I believe that the technician is still not sure about the problem and wants someone else to look at it. he would look very stupid scratching his head in front of me . Now arrive the transportation. I like in a society where in basement is for parking. Podium is covered and vehicles are not allowed. I told technician specifically to send a small vehicle. Instead arrived a bigger one. And all these people have huge problem with words. Company policy is an excuse. Technician said that now it is my problem as the vehicle cannot enter my society. Finally, I loaded the machine in my car and left it.






All in all, shall I like in society which is made as per LG vehicle specification. Am I supposed to customize based on LG or is LG supposed to customize based on my need?


Everyone is so so slow . No ownership no responsibility.


I made a big mistake by buying LG product.I will never buy nor recommend any LG product to anyone going forward.


System is not allowing me to give zero star hence forced to give one. Otherwise, -10 start rating is less.
