I have bought this machine recently around 5 months back and have tried everything and even LG has sent people for resolving the issue but they also failed in their attempts. Even if you wash clothes separately the lint on clothes stays along with washing powder patches. The inbuilt filter even if cleaned adds no value.
Thus its a waste of money and LG doesnt have any solution to this except for generating service request again and again. Would recommend guys not to go for this machine .
Just a recent update
-
The service guys had come recently and said it needs to be cleaned with white vinegar as per the guidelines of LG. I said ok show me the guidelines or write the same on the service log which they were reluctant to do and finally it looked as if they were just whiling the time away. Then they said a senior would come who examined everything and said it will be taken to workshop without assigning any reason as to what the problem is. Finally its there in the LG workshop with no update on when they would send it back after resolving the issue which I highly doubt as there was no problem in machine(mechanically). I feel its the technology / design which itself is flawed. Will update on the next steps soon. Till then please avoid LG washing machines.
Latest Update
The machine was taken to workshop on 17th April 2017 and till date i.e. 25th April there was no response / revert from LG. So had to followup myself and LG has not clue on the status.
Another Update as on 28 April 2017
After continuous followup the machine was delivered today and it was written as chemical cleaning was done. However after washing clothes in front of their engineers the same lint problem persists. More weird they are asking to wash a new cloth and see. LoL if I have to wash new clothes only why would I need a washing machine. Still struggling with these guys.
