Ladies and gentlemen, Surinder Kapoor and Soney kapoor present a Samir Karnik film. Kyun! Ho Gaya Naa…starring Vivek Obroi, Aishwarya Rai and Big B.

Arjun (Vivek Obroi) is a young man who lives life as on big joke, no responsibilities and no relationships to tie him up. He lives by the rule ''when you don't find an excuse, find someone to blame''. And his favorite saying is ''love and lose is not in Arjun's dictionary'' .Therefore, Arjun only believes in arranged marriage.

On the other side of the story, there is Diya (Aishwarya Rai). A young life full woman who embrace life and love. She studies, works in her father's farm, helps raising some orphans and believes only in love marriage. Saying that love doesn't need time to happen, it only takes a minute.

The Plot:

Diya happens to travel to another town to attend some exams in order to have her degree. She stays in Arjun's family house (Arjun's father is a friend of her father).

Diya gets involved with the family and friends and eventually she falls for Arjun. Only Arjun sees her as a friend.

Among some of his jokes, Arjun do a cruel joke that breaks Diya's heart and drove her back to her home sad and blue.

To fix what he have done, Arjun follows Diya and apologies to her. He stays for a while in the farm where he meets Diya's father, uncle (Big B) and the orphan kids. By the time he gains the approval of everyone.

Just when he thinks that he got everything settled, Ishan (Sunil Shetty) return from America_ a childhood friend of Diya_ and prove him wrong. Sawing them together light up the jealousy inside of Arjun. Uncle takes notice of what is going on and write down a plan that would slap Arjun on the face and make him realize his feelings for Diya.

The plan succeed and it strike Arjun right in the heart and this time he is the one who returns back home sad, blue and broken hearted.

Arjun knows well that he lost Diya forever. Only that he doesn't know a thing.

Cast:

Vivek Obroi did a very good job playing Arjun in the film. He saw through the character. There was a wide variation of emotions and he simply served them very well. He proved that he is an actor with potentials. Besides he fitted into songs modes and dance steps.

Aishwarya Rai acted her usual with a some high touches here and there were some scenes that were outstandingly outputted by her. Of course you'll notice her curly new look and her first kiss on the screen, which was, by the way, a humble one (considering that Ash and Vivek are real life lovers). Aishwarya were absolutely great performing the songs and succeeded doing the break dance of the club song No No (Kyun! Ho Gaya Naa…) and that’s a rare type of dance we see Ash doing.

Making:

The directing the camera work were very good. Most of the time it was normal and smooth. Then you find those video clip cuts and shots especially in the songs, which were well tooled in the film. They helped explaining some points of views of the characters. Except for Aao Naa which didn't add or take from the film and it would done with out it and Baat Samjha Karo which was only used to create a cool and nice entrance for Ishan (Sunil Shetty).

Points taken on the film:

 Form where did Diya come at the beginning of the film and in the very early morning sneaking in.

 Diya has only two friends who has no role in the film and didn't say a word in the one scene they appeared. Also you don't see them in the birthday party of the orphans where everybody was invited.

 Diya went to the night club wearing pants and with a wavy hair and turned home in a dress and with a pun.

 Arjun said the exact same words Diya said to her friends when he was helping the director getting his climax.

 Diya saw Arjun's picture in the envelope her father gave her right before her traveling and yet didn't recognize him the very next morning when she meets him in the train nor she did at any other time.

 Arjun managed to prepare a very expensive and great gift to his friend Vinay when he totally forgot his birthday.

 Arjun and the kids managed to move uncle's whole bed room and his bed while he was sleeping in it and yet uncle didn't wake up.

 In Diya's day dreaming, Arjun did the chain and one of the earrings for her. When she woke up only the chain was undone.

 Arjun's friend wore a torn up shirt to act as a reporter.
