Hmm?where do we begin?.

The opening scene began with a passel of brats acting like imbecile idiots and a former Moss world (she has gathered enough moss over the years yet her acting skills remain as deadpan as ever and now should be classified as India?s first living fossil?) acting like some juvenile delinquent?cut to the next scene which supposedly is a car race like the grand prixs..but u see a whole bunch of helicopters.. Which makes you wonder whatever the race was about. And u have the fossil and her entourage of annoying brats cheering and squealing for no one in particular.. and u suddenly get this squeamish feeling in your tummy that ..Well!! There goes another Sunday?watching drivel

The race culminates with all the racers having a song and dance routine in a bar? harping about the troubles and travails of falling in love?while fossil croons away eulogising the virtues of love ?.

The story is about a Arjun(Vivek Oberoi) a smart a#s who doesn?t believe in love and Dia (Aishwarya Rai)) who is a believes in love?.Arjun?s dictionary excludes two words?..love and defeat

And the whole movie is about Arjun and the rest of the junta attempting to get him to append these two words in his crummy dictionary.

Vivek oberoi is quite endearing as a perennial pest with a penchant for playing pranks (quite an alliteration that was!)

But hey isn?t this getting repetitive..

Hey vivek wake up n smell the coffee.. a cute prankster and all is okay but too much of anything and we the discerning audience would drop you like a hot potato?.get the drift..

Aishwarya Rai..aah?.well what do I say.. Watch her at your expense. you might just end up pulling out every nerve in your body and biting it into shreds when you see her emote and act??

Standard three and a half expressions and each expression accompanied by twitching of eyebrows and an eyeball rotating routine?.is what she qualifies as acting.

She looks gauche in some of the scenes and waif like in some scenes. The atrocious hairdo though adds some mirth to the proceedings? lame attempts at humor in the form of Amitabh and the same passel of brats further numb your senses with their less than endearing acts.

Btw the much talked about chemistry and camaraderie between the lead pair is palpable by its very non-existence. The imbecile of a director suffers from certain hitchcockesque misconceptions and makes a thorough jacka#s of himself in a cameo as an effeminate, deranged director.

None of the scenes have any connection with the other. The story progresses in fits and starts with each scene bereft of any logical connection with the other. Take for instance the scene where Vivek cons the fossil into believing that her exams are postponed and suddenly you see them competing in a dance contest at some inane competition?your brain with its grey cells start disintegrating intop a zillion pieces?

To be fair ?it does have its endearing moments but unfortunately they are so rare..and few and far in between that you don?t even notice it?the songs are hummable that?s about it and the locales well? tell me any recent movie which doesn?t boast of picturesque locales?

Aishwraya?s acting skills remind me of the smart one-liner which says. I Have just one nerve and you are standing on it?.

In short save the attempts at butchering your brains; stay home, curl up and read a good novel instead.
