Never ever take any policy of kotak mahindra. The agents never tell you the exact details of the policy.
I have purchased 3 policy in 3 years and I was told that I can get the total money after 5 years and there is 3 years of locking period for tax benefit. Now they are saying 10% of my money will be deducted if I surrender the policy.
The agent changed his mobile number and I am not getting any hold of him. While taking the policy I clearly asked him that I will need to get the money after 5 years but he did not tell me about this 10% deduction.
The customer care guys are now saying I have signed the documents with this clause. I know some people will say I should read the document before signing but guys I was working for TechMahindra and these guys always will come and follow you left and right to take policy. They will never give a chance to read the docs. They will just tell you to trust them and sign in so many places. During office hour we don't have time to read the documents and they wont give you the docs to take home, read it and sign next day.
KOTAK GUYS ARE PLAYING WITH YOUR TRUST.
Take policy of gov organisation only like LIC, PLI or SBI Life. You get more return and no chance of cheating.
