LOCATION: RATNAGIRI
Kohinoor Samudra Resort is located in Ratnagiri. Ratnagiri is located in the southwestern part of Maharashtra State on the Arabian sea coast. It forms a part of the greater tract known as Konkan. This tract is historically famous for its long coast line and convenient harbors.
The surrounding area is bordered by the Sahyadri Hills on the West. The fertile alluvial valleys produce the luscious Alphanso mango, coconut and rice as the maincrops. Fruits and cashewnut cultivation is also being promoted.
HOW TO REACH?
By road: The resort is approximately 7 kms away from the Ratnagiri railway station.Ratnagiri is well connected by road transport with important towns such as Mumbai- 350 kms, Pune - 300 kms, Kolhapur - 120 kms.
By rail: Konkan railway is very convenient to reach Ratnagiri from Mumbai or Goa.
