Novel Kite runner written by khaled hosseini is the best masterpiece I have ever read. The novel deals with the devastating conditions in afghanistan where escaping is the only option left. Villages turned to deserts, youngsters joining taliban and threat to life always follows people. In it, two different worlds are depicted; one of royalty in afghanistan and other of alienation from native land in america. The relationship between amir and hassan creates nostalgic effect and depicts the values of serving master. The importance given to hassan over amir by his father includes deep sense of latent relations and emotions.
Every question that amir has in afghanistan in his first world and all his acts result in an answer and reaction when he enters his first world second time. The relationship between hassan and baba( amir's father) in a way resembles the same bond between hassan's son and amir. The novel includes many scenes that are horrifying and instill deep sense of fear in the mind of reader. Sympathy automatically creates in the hearts. The journey from afghanistan to america has twists and turns that leaves one shocked about the reality of life.
The keeps one engaged and curious about the next part of story. The ending remains plain and does include typical melodrama. There is a reality which makes one connected to the novel and see the world through words. Overall I would say that such harsh theme could be written this beautifully by an amazing writer like khaled hosseini only.
