It has remained a best seller and has been liked by readers from around the world. The book deals with cross cultural issues The Kite Runner is incredible.
I could not put it down. One of my favorite books of all time. A very painful and sad story that tell us about the forgotten history of Afghanistan. The most touching stories I have ever seen! it makes me cry on the last part.totally enjoyed the story. Wow. . what a story man! After reading the book I really felt like I was in Afghanistan and Kabool and the hangover was still there for more than a week. .
Though the first part of the story is a little dragging please don’t stop reading. I literally fell in love with this writer after reading this book.I usually don’t read English books written by non English speakers but this man pierces right through your heart. I don’t know much about the writer except that he is from Afghanistan and he later lived in America. The story flows in a way that makes you feel as if it is a first-person account, which is why the author’s writing style too, deserves a special mention, Seems to be biography of the author but flawlessly written & one of the top fiction story I have ever read. It was stunning & heartbreaking which will keep moving as one flip the pages. It is a story of lost friendship due to betrayal & history of despair It gives a true picture. This is a truly magnificent book.One of the very best stories I have ever read.
