I had lot of expectations while boarding the Kingfisher airlines, here is my attempt to summarize my experience with the airliner

Booking:
It is extremely convenient, you can reserve your
seat online. This is a big advantage as you need not report one hour in advance to get a window seat. Certain other airlines (Jet) have started the facility of tele-checkin but this is strictly for there frequent flyers.

Ticketing staff and other staff at airport :
I wish they sincerely redesign there uniforms, somehow it neither looks appealing nor sensuous, Mr. Mallya if you were to ever read this, even saree can give a sensuous look. The staff is very young, but they are indeed very professional and they demonstrate the right attitude.

Once during the Air shahara skid issue our flight was delayed, Kingfisher quickly announced a snacks packets for all passengers flying onboard the flight. This was a gesture which was not repeated by any other airlines (Jet & Indian). I was moved by the gesture, however I wish they always gave us the correct information which at times I felt they didn’t inform us, maybe fearing public ire.

Aircraft:
VOW !! The aircraft is classy, it is a brand new Airbus A320 the interiors are extremely fresh. Remember there is no business class so you get a classy view of the complete aircraft. The aircraft is extremely luminous thanks to state of art lighting deployed in the aircraft. The seats are extremely comfortable and the legroom is better then the other airlines. In short I am yet to come across a better aircraft operating in domestic sector which can beat Kingfisher airlines. However in recent times I observed that quite a few screens were not working. I sincerely wish that the aircraft is properly maintained to retain its beauty

Food and In-flight Service:
The food is extremely good they have a wide variety of offering they have a printed menu which makes your choice much simpler. The in-flight service is great, at least on the sectors I have flown the staff was extremely cheerful. They may not be as professional as Jet but I believe that with passing time they will learn the tricks.

In-flight entertainment
Again the only operator to provide for individual screens. The programming is decent. They have a sports channel, News channel, Zoom, Star One program etc (all that I remember) I wish they had more hours of programs, this is important when your flight gets delayed. Recent times I have observed that the program which depicts our location on screen has not been working.

Goodies:
You get a headphone for free also you get a pen ( I wish the quality was better) apart from a funky pouch.

Overall it is truly a value for money considering there current fares. I would rate it as a first choice. My only concerns are with its punctuality, I hope this improves with times to come.

No. of times flown on this Airlines: Between 4 - 6
Class flown most frequently: Economy Class
