As a regular flier with Kingfisher, I always experienced (barring once) very pleasant journey. Before take off, it offers a small bottle of lemon juice and a very useful "Kingfisher Pack" which contains headsets, some mints, a pen and useful information on the Kingfisher network, you really feel like a guest not a passenger. With a reasonable inflight meal, best IFE (personal TV) in the domestic Indian sector, good ambiance inside the plane and reasonable leg room (with footrest) you are a king there. Possibly you will only miss the King’s flavour since Indian rules do not allow alcohol service onboard flights.
With all these good things comes some minor inconveniences as well. A regular flyer will have to watch repeated recorded TV shows in IFE on both legs. My experience with Kingfisher could be 100% satisfactory once I single out my experience with their Bhubaneswar Delhi flight. The single hopping flight stops for 2 hours at hyderabad where you will have to come out of the airport to check in once again.
