Pros:
Food, Flight Services, Flight Staff- Excellent
Cons:
No leg space for tall people. Seats are cramped.

If you want to learn how to steal customers from your competitors, you should learn it from Kingfisher Airlines. My mom had told me, if your competitors draw a line, draw a line bigger than theirs
to show them you are big rather than trying to erase their line. This is what exactly Kingfisher has done.

I had been an ardent fan of Jet Airways till i flew with Kingfisher. I loved flying with Jet and this time I could have taken Jet again from Indore to Mumbai but the only reason I took Kingfisher was my son wanted to go in a RED plane than a BLUE plane. So to keep his wishes, i had booked a RED plane for journey to Mumbai.

The flight was late by 45 minutes. (you cant really blame Kingfisher, its monsoons and you know how mumbai can be in monsoons...the flight has not taken off from Mumbai due to weather). Fine..no problems there.

The girl at the check-in counter had been helpful already so i was in a good mood even after travelling with two kids. The airport staff had been really cooperative. So when the flight finally reached t Indore airport, they quite nicely asked the handicap or people on wheel chair to board first, then they asked for ladies or families with kids. (Cmon, now Jet had never asked me that..even when my son was just 1.5 months old) Frankly, till date only Singapore airlines had done it with me. But now look here, a domestic airlines on Indore airport politely arranging organised boarding. I was already happy as now i could settle the kids by the time everyone else had been seated.

But, my god, once inside. I loved every part of it. My only problem was the leg space, but i suppose i should be used to it now since I am tall. I did not get the front seat so that i could have more leg space but nevertheless, it did have one benefit, my son got a TV screen in front of him. He could not have asked for more. The first thing he said to me was, "Mamma your blue plane does not have TV, my RED plane shows me a cartoon". Now, could i argue with that?

Since the flight was not full, the flight attendant after giving her rhetoric about how to handle babies, arranged my little girl to be seated on the seat next to mine.

I could not have had more wonderful flight than this. Both the kids seated on either side and me in the middle seat, I could have my dinner without spoons falling, tray overturning and water bottle dropping every moment. I could thankfully finish everything and kids could eat too without any bother. (btw, my son did not like the lemon juice nor did the little one).

As far as food is concerned, I hate all flight food not matter which airlines it is or how hungry i am. I just hate that tasteless inflight food. (plus i hv a severe case of travel sickness). BUt to my surprise, this food was a lot better than any other airlines i have travelled with - internationally or domestic. Thank God. If I am hungry and have to take a flight, now i know which airlines is going to be my first option.

Lastly, the icing on the cake was - when the kids got their share of toys. (they always get a toy while travelling with Jet) but I had something coming my way from my son again. As soon as he got his toy, he says, "You see Mamma, your Blue plane gives only one toy but my RED plane gives me TWO toys." (if you are wondering about the second toy, he is talking about the RED Kingfisher pouch which we get as soon as we board the plane. It has a pen, wet tissue, some chocolates, today’s menu and headphones for the TV)

Boy! Did I have a wonderful and peaceful flight? Oh Yes, I did! Kingfisher is my first choice now on all sectors wherever they fly!

Cheers!!!
