Hi every one !

I had  the oppurtunity to travel in Kingfisher Airlines just once but fell head over heels with the comfort and the attention I got.

I have travelled a lot by different

airlines in India as my job invlves a lot of travlling and most of the times it is like catch the early morining flight and catch the last flight home on the same day. So I put a lot of premium on comfort as the travel gets very hectic.

The check in at Kingfisher at the Mumbai terminal was good - very fast and efficient. They took good care of the luggage and it was over very quickly. The wait for the flight took some time and was slightly delayed - but given the congeation at our airports, I think that should not be a major judging points. In flight service was very good - the girls were smart and professional. The in - flight entertainment was something new on the domestic sector - others shaould follow their example.

The biggest surprise was the smooth take off and landing. I have endured tyre bursts and  aircraft bumping ( bumped twice on landing) but this was one of the smoothest.  Normally, our airline pilots tend to take off as if they are flying the fighters of the IAF ( very good - they will come in handy if reqd) - as soon as the plane takes off, these guys try to climb like anything - very steep (as if the heat from the engines is burning their behinds). I have flown on Gulf Air, Saudia and Asiana - no one climbs the way they do - apart from Kingfisher.  The landing in Delhi was one of anticipation - when do I feel the bump - till the time the announce ment was made that we have landed. I was very surprised !!.
