This movie is one of the biggest let downs of the year!

The only reason i am giving it 2 stars is because some of the scenes depicting the behavior of King Kong were expertly handled and

bought a smile to my face and, maybe because i went to this movie with too many expectations and its rare that any movie meets my expectations (however if this factor were negated the movie is a 1).

Other than that this movie is one big waste of time the graphics and visualization is over the top, the tribal look like they have been lifted straight of the sets of LOTR, in fact entire parts of the island scenes look like scenes lifted from LOTR.

The movie is long, boring, and at times totally annoying. its really sad that after so much time spent in the movie you actually end up hating every character in the movie. also the sheer variations in king Kong’s strength and weaknesses leaves a very bad taste. 

I can keep cribbing about the movie but id run out of sentences. do yourself a favor and avoid this movie or go in expecting very, very less.
