Below is my initial review welll i wud like to add a few things, actually I have recognised the problem-- it is the spark plug that requires cleaning after every 10-15 days which according to my boyfriend
is fine. But after the spark plug is cleaned I must say that it runs very smoothly. Well right now its up and working I’ll just wait and watch for a few months. I bought Flyte in June 08, u won’t believe it after 2 months it started giving me problems. Initially my boyfriend handled it so I was not troubled but later I had to move to Nasik for my job and within a span of 1-1.5 months i have experienced a lot of probs. 1. The engine would stop in the middle of the road if I would slow down and then I wud have to start again by pressing the self-start. Problem was that in the middle of the road if u scoot always stops it is a big nuisance. 2. It stopped almost 5-6 times in a span of 1 month and I had to drag it for long distances. 3. When i called service centre guys they and took my Flyte to their service centre and later in the evening wher I go to collect it they say that there was no petrol, also there was no OTHER PROBLEM in it. But I knew just that previous day I had put almost 1 litre petrol in it, so what does mean either petrol was stolen or their is some serious prob. in the scoot. 4. Servicing done by these guys at least the free ones are crap, if u are present out there then its fine but if u are not they cook up any Crap and tell u.---Being a female I don’t have much knowledge about scoots mechanism as well as I cannot open it up on my own hence whatever they tell I have to listen to. 5. It eats up petrol like anything plus its quite heavy--- I know how to ride bikes and have learnt to ride Pulsar, u know I can pull a Pulsar sideways but pulling the Flyte is a tough task. 6. For femaales who are on their own it may not be a good choice coz if it constantly keeps breaking down then u can’t keep dragging it all the way to your residence. Overall it was a bad experience and Flyte is my first scoot so I will very wary while buying the next time--If there is a next time.....
