I bought a Kinetic flyte in May 2008...reading all the reviews on this blog...and touchwood its doing fine for me...Thanx all for the

good reviews about the vehicle...but this review is about the dealer so that others are careful about choosing a better dealer...
anyways...so when i went to Unicorn Auto, Domlur....they treat me very cordially (obviously) as i am a propsective buyer...i take the test ride and like it and tell my husband that i’ll go ahead with it....immediately the sales person is very happy and he goes forward with the booking...we pay him a small advance (as was not carrying too much cash and the sales ppl said that for quicker processing its better to pay by cash)...and so we did, the next day itself i took the balance in cash and i paid in full for the vehicle and one helmet (which they said will be delivered along with the vehicle)....till now everything’s fine...they promise me the vehicle’s delivery in 3 days and i am happy...but that was not to be done...i got the vehicle only after a week and that too after me calling up and asking umpteen times...and wait the best is yet to come...i think u might have guessed...yes they didn’t send the helmet along with the vehicle...anyways i called them up and they said that they will surely do it the next day...but it didn’t happen and the same story continued for 1 more week (believe me its true)...and they tell me when i call up that if i am in such a hurry then i shud go and pick up the helmet myself...foolish ppl dont realise that i cant drive the vehicle without the helmet....anyways after the week’s time i get a little pissed off (i am normally a very very patient person...which u might have understood by the way i kept waiting for such a long time) and i call up and ask a little sternly when do they plan to send the helmet coz i’ve called up so many times that its getting a little too much now...to this the lady on the phone tells me " i’ll do it tomorrow "and bangs the phone....i am very upset but cant do anything much coz my vehicle is new and i have to go bk to the same ppl for servicing....anyways this time they keep their word and i finally receive my helmet after 10 days of vehicle delivery...
then everything’s fine...i get my first service done...and the second one...after the second service i find that my indicators’ beep is not working...so when i call and ask them they say that water must’ve gone into it while servicing and i have to come all the way to get it repaired...(just coz of their carelessness)...anyways i didn’t think it was something i cudn’t do without...so i waited for my last free service (the 3rd one) and i mention about this prob and  then when i am taking out my stuff from my storage box the service person (who’s come to take my vehicle for service) asks me for my helmet...to which i deny...but he says that he has not bought any so will require mine to drive my vehicle...anyways i give it to him and tell him to remember to give it back as i had had a bad experience with the helmet delivery the first time...
but as my luck wud have it i had the same prob...the vehicle came bk after servicing and the helmet did not...so anyways i call and tell them about the prob...and u have to hear them to know how arrogant they are...the person (his name is some Mathew) tells me that he’ll not be able to send the helmet as per my requirement (and as he had said earlier if i needed it urgently i have to come on my own and collect it) and in his own words ’ Madam i will not be able to send it now...only in the evening i can send, next time don’t give your helmet to the service person’ to which i answered that i actually did not give it to him, but he took it from me...atleast after hearing this there should have been an apology from their side saying that ’ i am sorry about it madam, i will send it at the earliest’ but no the answer that i still get is ’Madam i will not be able to send it now...only in the evening i can send’...i am yet to receive my helmet it is one day since ...
this is the first time i have seen such rude people...if they can’t talk properly to customers how do they hope to build their business...i could have complained to the head office of kinetic but i’m sure not much action will be taken...coz finally this person is giving them business... and thats the reason i am putting it up on a blog like this is coz i want people to be aware of such arrogance and avoid going to this dealer...unless u wanted to be treated badly...
