Well to start with I own a kinetic nova 135 and I have covered 5000 km till date....and so now find myself suitable for giving a review...
firstly I would like to tell that within the first 6months of buying the vehicle I encountered no problem.....then came my first problem....BATTERY PROBLEM.....self start failed, horn failed, indicators failed....service center people replaced the battery and the scooter was good as new...and since then no more problems....
than after 3rd servicing the vehicle gave me jerks between 0-10kmph I took it to the service center and they said that it was some clutch problem and they rectified within an hour.....and thats it ......no more problems till date....
the vehicle has good pickup required in Indian traffic conditions....specially in Hyderabad....and I like it when I zoom way beyond others on signals, when they are busy switching gears.....well I personally raced pulser 220 and karizma and pickup wise nova is a winner....
MILAGE............. well I am not sure about my milage because I never cared to check it...i go for a tank full and I forget about it.....and it goes on forever and ever.....i guess its something between 45-50...because of my careful driving and good maintainence......
then I would say that kinetic nova feels lighter than activa because of its fibre body.... well I had problems adjusting to the vehicle.....handling hurts my heart......i am 5 10 and the handle bar touches my legs during turnings... I feel that handling needs improvement....well u can adjust to the vehicle its no big deal.....
well u can actually feel the power of the vehicle....it feels so good to go uphill with ease with a hefty broter sitting at your back.....it handles slopes with ease.....if kinetic blaze is a monster on road then I would consicer nova a bull on road
till date I have touched 80kmph and didnt get a chance to experiment more....though I plan to do so....thus I think that the vehicle has excellent pickup along with reasonable top speed and so I consider it an excellent choice for indian roads....
well my brother has an activa nad my cousin sister has a honda deo....so I got a chance to compare all the three
i felt in terms of handling activa is good but it had skidding problems unlike in my nova...honda deo is good.... when it somes to power... nova beats all.....and look wise deo is the king.....activa and deo have same engines although deo felt lighter..........
activa/deo engine was smoother and this is the part kinetic people need to take care about...nova engine needs refinement......
under seat storage in nova is huge when compared to any other scooter...it can easily fit my helmet+ my towel+ some papers+a small box+ my spects casing+ a few other things with ease although it cannot fit two helmets as written in the website....LOL......well the front storage is useful and its got a mobile charger too....
well I would consider it an excellent choice for people like me who are uncomfortable with gears on indian roads.....kinetic nova is a power packed machine with reasonable features to convence you to buy it.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED....perfectly suits students, modern women, and even young execitives
dont go by the rumours that spare parts are not avaible in the market or thay are rarely available.......spare parts are readily available and at reasonable rates it authorised service centers.. they are well trained and can easily fix any problems.....all you need to do is finding a reliable service center near your area...and if needed you need to let go your old reliable servicing guy....
AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST ......NO OFFENCE BUT I HAVE TO SAY THIS......I CAME ACROSS A LOT OF PPL SAYING THAT THERE ARE NOT VERY GOOD SERVICE CENTERS IN MANY PLACES ......SCREW THIS......U JUST NEED TO DO SOME RESEARCH AND IF NEEDED AS I SAID EARLIER U MAY NEED TO CHANGE YOUR SERVICE CENTER GUY.......THERE ARE MANY GOOD SERVICE CENTERS AROUND.....
