This one is for those who want comfort and hassle free driving.. I recently bought a second hand and quite satisfied with it.
First who should be using it.
1) guys who don't worry too much about style..(if u, better go for a bike)
2) guys who would be mostly driving on crowded streets.. it is quite useful there as u don't have to bother about the clutch and gear business.
3) If you happen to be generally carrying something like a bag or other stuff.. it makes carrying things much easier (cud be a big pain on bike) u can put / carry most things easily on the foot board
4) if you r not too concerned about the mileage (expect max 40 types that too only with the recent models, the Y2K series scores better on mileage)
Now some disadvantages...
a) as I said earlier its low on mileage.. but I guess it does not make that much of a difference.. at 40 KMPL its a good trade off between comfort and mileage.
b) Its quite expensive when it comes to maintenance.. the spare parts are costly and need attention more than some other vehicles...specially in cold weather u have problems with auto start.. regular servicing at quarterly interval is like a must..
c) Risky for fast driving.. Given its small size of the wheels it is vulnerable to skid. Avoid driving this during rains.. Don’t use brakes if u r driving above 45 types..
overall I would say driving this is quite a pleasure and worth the small disadvantages...
