I bought kinetic 4 S in March'07. I already have an old kinetic which is giving good performance and this was the main reason I opted to buy Kinetic 4 S instead or Active. When I visited the showroom(Ashwini Wheels, Tilak Road, Pune) I was given false impression of its mileage and performance and good services. I was very happy to buy this and it gave a quite satisfaction for next 4 months. But after that it is continuously giving problems. Driving it for more than 1 yr I would like to mention some problems which I faced and still facing so that other people can read and take their decision to purchase this.
I never got the mileage more than 45-46 per Km/hr as claimed by comapny and its delears(55 KM)
Have less space compare to Activa and other bike in this category
Engine makes lot of noise when you increse speed more than 35-40. I would say that you can not drive it @ 45 speed or more as its handle starts shaken and its gives impression that you will lose the control of ur bike if you donot decrease the speed. very negative point of Kinetic 4S
4. front light is not powerful
- remember Active is better than Kinetic 4S in every department except its fuel efficiency(Activa's is 35-38 MAX and higher maintance)
6. I regret that I bought it. its not value for money.
7. driving with pillion rider is very uncomfortable on it as seats are not desingned perfectly.
I wish someone can buy it from me at good amount so that I can buy Activa. :)
Here I would like to mention it has no good pickup. If you are stopped at traffic signal and waiting for green light. You will be the last person in traffic to move as even other non-geared bike like scooty, dio has quite good good pickup. I was never able to chase any person who is driving Activa.
