I have never been a fan of scooters. But had a chance to ride the Kinetic Honda of my Sister. The scooter is pretty good. No gears, elec start and fast and zippy. just press the button, hold it straight and U r on the road.
It also has a kick starter when the Elec Starter fails. But I tried using it once as the mechanic suggested not use the Elec starter for the first time in a day.
It has a glove box, which is medium in size, the documents and a handbag will fit in. Another basket is provided over the glove box which comes handy when doing some small shopping.
the petrol tank is under the seat, but accessing it is not that hard.It comes with a spare tyre. But I wonder how many girls will actually change the tire when if there is a punture. Any way it's a nice one, as they dont have to search for a valcanising shop. With little help from bystandars, they stepny should be able to be replaced.
the Speed: the Pickup is really nice, and I have seen many girls overtaking cars with this. After riding it, I understand why? Just hold the throttle... U r flying baby...!
The spares are comparitively little costly I guess ( My Mechanic's view!) and the bosy is a mox of plastic and metal....
One BIG PROBLEM is the low ground clearence. For a Guy, it may be a new thing as mobikes has a good ground clearence... Even on a small bump or speed breaker, the underbody kisses the ground with a disturbing sound. So while driving on a bumpy road you should be reallly careful.
Overall, the bike is a nice bet for girls and senior Citizens....
