Update after over 7000 kms and 1.3 years i.e. On 19/01/2008
The CDI (the part which regulates electricals in vehicle) fall down in running vehicle.
This small box is located on other side of engine clamped with rubber strip and this strip has teared out in one year, due to poor designed faulty mounting it crumpled between wheel and plastic cover, vehicle stopped immedeately and can not be dirven!!!
Even local repair shop has raised the hands!! and told these is happening in many 4S due to faulty mounting of CDI !!! and he would not touch it!!!! (I thought otherway while I bought this vehicle- which is mentioned in my original view below)
I had to drag the vehicle back home and call breakdown service!! and it costs you hell now as its ........little...... above one year of purchase!!!!!
and since my last update I need to add following too
Vehicle jerks when taking sharp turn on right side, suspension has gone weird in one year.
Petrol level indicator has started malfunctioning, on service it was rectified but not to last!!
YES I SAY WHEN YOU BUY KINETIC 4S YOU HAVE BOUGHT A LOTTERY
This I am telling after 6500 kms and One year of purchase.... i.e ON 13/09/2007
Your Chance of having a prefect vehicle which gives you a good return on money is as low as winning a lottery.
I am unhappy and frustrated owner of Kinetic 4S. whose vihicle has not given the right service and when I wrote a funny and harsh review about it here at Mouthsut immedeatly after purchase, I was promised to take care of the vehicle which is still not done...
Yet the vehicle is running in poor condition and doesnt gives any fuel efficiency nor it runs smoothly. My enthusiasm and expectations have gone pale and I am left with no words for kinetic and their people around.
It has taken two different service stations and two engineers to try out, but not to avail any success... there is an inherrent problem in the Kinetic 4S, Which I anticipate, everybody at the marketing chain knows, but everybody wants to cover-up....
Vehicle doesnt run smooth with pillion rider and gulps petrol @ 1 litre for 20 kms.
it will not give any pick-up till it has run for 10 kms.
when out of some bumps the suspension kirks and vehicle has to drag itself and engine has to work as hard as it is towing some truck behind.
Experimentally service stations / engineeers have tried with carburator, handle and front suspension assembly.... and charged me for clutch repair... ( Idont know how it is not covered in warranty and what else is covered under warranty if not the clutch assembly).
but everything has turned fruitless.
oil sippage from transmission assembly remains all time issue but to be accepted as no problem.
As of today I am not even wiling to spend time on rubbish thing which the seller has raised hands on... and dont want to sell it to someone by cheating and let someone pass from all these troubles I have faced with this vehicle...
so if you are prepared to have chance equivalent to lottery winning then only buy kinetic 4S
if you want the details, comment over here and I would give all the proofs...
and yes one word for all those who are here at mouthshut on behalf of company to protect their interests.... I am not at all bothered or deviated from my view, as the FACT remains FACT
Below is the view with which, I bought Kinetic 4S. Within few days of purchase all my below views turned pale wrong and. I worte somethig which I withdrew in short time as few responders found it to be harsh and loud, and it might be so, but it proved to be true and I am willing to keep posting in softer languange to inform people before they buy 4S.

its best you can get in return of your money with perfctly built vehilce in terms of reliability and economy ????
try to figure out what best you can get out of you money when you are buying a vehicle?
This is the vehicle which has set the benchmark and turned the history of vehicles on indian road in terms of ease of use and reliabiliy. anyone who knows those days of two wheelers which has to be kept slanting for few moments before your try your luck with those harsh kicking!!!
just push the button and you are on road !!!! havent we won the daily lottery prize by having this vehicle in our hand???
While moving around in traffic ( this is becoming part of life for everyone either living in cities or even in towns this days) can you drive for few hours with that both hand and both leg tricks? and how much energy would you have been left after that for your self ?
Isnt it like a surprise gift which we never dreamt of????
And when we buy any vehicle.. what more do we expect?
Shall be relaiable like chetak ( not that Ba...... scooter but horse of Maharana Pratap.......)
it shall only need twick signal to rise and run..
Shall not stop us anywhere when it is needed most... and even if something goes wrong with it shall be back on track in minimum time..
This was all given to us too by old kinetic zx / y2k vehicles..
But on top of it the fuel effeciency... try to figure out the cost you will have to inccur to keep even a donkey for commuting... it will be far more than fuel cost of 4S
Thats jackpot prize for us !!!!!!!!
May god give all buyers this opportunity and wisdom to have this vehicle.
This fights out bravely to the international competition and not to say outwit them and will give them run for the bread and butter in coming days.....
My happy moments with this vehicle in this short duration after purchase..
Had very few fuel refills this gives joy when you pass by a petrol station but dont have to turn in every now and then...
Anyone with little knowledge of vehicles can help bring you out of any trouble, and we have many around in india who can reassamble this vehicle without any manuals and special jigs... and you dont have to go to japan to fix up that little lose nut on your vehicle as in other vehicles!!!!
And last but not all, I am buying, maintaining, the vehicle and not draining out the most valuable foreign currency... (Certanlly this is not a rocket technology for which we shall pay)
