The Khiladi Shades . Review on Khiladi 786

There is a Certain Aspect to be Noticed by the Cinegoers (not going to code them as Indian audience coz I am not sure if its only their own cinema they are so cruel to, or they live in the Hollywood cine daze). So when we have some mature cinema, or must term progressive cinema like Gulaal, Aamir, I AM, Talaash being released, they junk it or term it in some adjectives- being action, thriller, homosexuality, child-abuse and so forth. Without relating to the storyline, the layers of the script, the intention or the symbolism. Similarily a Good Comedy ( which is rare except that if it has a Vinay Pathak in it) gets either Multiplex cinema name or senseless cinema.

Khiladi 786 will soon earn its adjectives too. Nevertheless here is a movie which is an entertainer, a complete package of a cinema where you go enjoy the tickle, love the colors, and come out refreshed !

Of course the Action scenes have been touched by technology and little unreal, but besides that fact it’s a movie which with its assorted cast (literally), a little weird combination of 72 Singh and Indu( actually looking great together) and Himesh crooning numbers and sharing screenspace( trust me which grows on the audience) is a wholesome entertainer. Though I always realize that Asin as an actress can do much better then she does, or must say deserves better roles. For once she is not the brainless bimbette and one of the rare ones in Indian Film Industry in present times with a very expressive face. Its obviously hard to imagine anybody except Akshay being the Khiladi , and the movie does have a bit of traces of his character from Namastey London too. Jab koi bachcha aise khilone ki zid kare jo do din bhi na chalne waala ho, toh usko wo khilona de dena chaahiye . The surprise element is of the whole cast is Himesh Reshammiya, he actually does throw some act and fits into the character he has portrayed on-screen!

The music reviewers really wary of his voice, need to watch the movie and see that actually its most appropriate for the flick of this genre! The pick of the lot is “Jo Tenu Vekhya, Saansen gayeen thamm, saari saari raat..” , while “Hookah Bar” will turn into a youth cult.
