My family including kids went to Kesari My fair lady with Kids tour to Bangkok, Pattaya on 24th Dec 2016.
Booking experience. It was average. Different associates provided diff information abt the tour causing confusion. The associate who did our booking did lots of spelling and dates mistakes even after providing the docs. We had to get it corrected thrice. He did not even remember to tell us that the date was postponed even after advance payment. We got to know this when we went to get our queries resolved third time. Luckily the date was suitable to us.
Forex and Visa assistants were very supportive and knew their job well.
Indian and Thai tour managers( Ms. Pranali and Ms. Paet) were very supportive, they took care of all the ladies and kids well. They were continuosly providing information and took care that everything go as planned. They kept their cool even when when few tour members goofed up at certain places. They both were very polite. Though at certain places they have a scope to improve like communication!. E.g 1. although all the info related to immigration was provided at super fast speed, at the time of actual immigration we had tough time because we were not provided with the forms in the flight. 2. We were not informed to carry poncho raincoats, extra clothes to dreamworld. As we were not aware of the water ride some of us missed it. 3. There was major communication gap at Coral island abt underwater ride. No advance info abt age, the video shooting was given so there was little challenge. The corals were dead and fishes looked like normal fishes from tank.
Itinerary was well planned and executed, but I personally felt like every now and then we all were running from one spot to another and there was very little time to rest. Since this tour was with kids it was little bit exhausting for moms and kids both though the singles enjoyed it a lot. Still all of them managed to enjoy every spot in their own way! Kesari needs to give special attention to the tours with'kids' so that travelers get sufficient time to rest. It's ok to drop some destinations and give some free time at the hotel when they plan trips with kids. Gems gallery was amazing. Pattaya tower, nongnooch village were awesome! We did have some awkward moments during Alcazar show because we were with kids! Most memorable was dreamworld and bangkok zoo!
The hotels, food, snacks hampers, toppings at certain places were all superb. This is a major point to worry when u travel with kids. But Kesari outdid in our expectations. Hats off to Thai chefs who tried to cook'near Indian' food!
We all missed celebrity on the tour which was a major attraction and were told that Kesari has stopped doing it.
We were late at the airport on the day of departure and this really took a toll on us to get ourselves to the gate. We did not even get time to have lunch and we were seen as few Indians idiots carrying lunch in polythene bags in hand throughout all the counters. It was real hectic.
Overall few misses but lots of hits. But we even enjoyed the misses. We all followed almost all the instructions of our tour managers and the tour was a success! This was a most memorable tour and we are still in touch. I would definitely go on another tour if Kesari slash the prices!:)
