I have been travelling with Kesari since 2009 but in this tour which started on 18th October'20014 I had following experiences which I thought worth bringing to the notice of future travellers
1] We booked this tour in August'2014, through their Borivali Branch. The Branch Manager Ms. Pratima, had asked for Rs. 10000.00 cash component which we were forced to oblige. It was first time that Kesari had asked for cash component. During our tour, we asked our co-travelers about this but none of them [Total 24, No] were demanded cash by Kesari, then why we? Can top management of Kesari explain this? or is it the sheer exploitation of tourists? Many of them paid through Credit Card, while in Borivali branch NO No for C.Cards.
2] In Kesari's declaration, it is clearly mentioned that collect your Air Ticket on full payment. But actual E-tickets are issued at airport.Why? We made full payment in September and we were denied our right of receiving E-tickets; in spite of several requests. Can Mr. Kesari Patil explain this?
3] There is a Mountain flight in this tour [Optional] Ms. Pratima told us this would cost us Rs. 10000.00/PP. I searched on net and found that it actually cost Rs. 6700.00/PP. When the print out of Budha Air was shown to her she came down to 8500.00/PP. At site we actually paid Rs.7500.00/PP
4] Tour guide, Mr. Pankaj Satardekar was very good and he took excellent care of us.
So please be careful in future while booking through Borivali Branch of Kesari.
