Munnar: Lovely place. truly cool. enjoy the climate. When visiting, choose a good guide. stay atleast in a 3 star hotel. don’t go below that. you may call the "get it info" to get info on hotels and all. there wil be strikes, so be aware of them. roads are somewhat good. but don’t go in ordinary buses, u will get tired fast. better is by train. but book ur ticket earlier. online service is available for the same. during daytime, i prefer ac coaches.
