I bought Kent RO Grand plus from Snehanjli(Virar(w) local store on 2015 about rs 17000. We got extended service for 2 years from local vendor(about rs 900). Which we confirm from Kent service center that they are not responsible for this service. For first year this is working ok. Once Warranty period of one year completed, Kent service people told us to change filter as
RO Filter - rs 2500
Side filter 1 - rs. 500
Side filter 2 - rs. 500
And annual maintenance charge(AMC) as rs. 2000, Which includes changing of wire and electric parts(not include other parts - electric machine)
If we don't take AMC then they will charge as rs.300 per visit and if any wire/electric part will cost more than rs 300
Also Kent service provider told that, if you want to run RO filter for 2 years then add Outer filter(Rs 900). and filter inside that need to change every 3 months(rs 300)
Also on top of that, Kent service people said that they are not sure about the water we are drinking is as per their guidelines.
So that you have to buy TDS meter at rs.1200 to check water quality.
Kent service people are local vendors in you area, If you ask them any queries, they always ask about to replace the parts. So how much knowledge they have that is big question?
So an average you have to pay 8000/year to get quality water. Is it really worth?
