I with my friend in college decided for a adventurous trip to The Kempty Falls which is situated on the hills of Uttarkhand near Mussorie. The Kempty Falls is surrounded by high mountain peaks at an distance of about 13 km from Mussorie and 45 km from Dehradun.
Taxi and buses are available from Dehradun to Kempty via Mussoorie. This fall has been developed during the British Period for their holidaying. Locally it is said that it was a camp for tea, later become kempty. The water streams fall from about 40 feet, which give a panoramic view in the hills. It appears that silver falling from a mountain top. It is one of the most visited place near Dehradun. It is extremely cold. The breeze is very cool and we enjoyed the thunder shower bath there with my friends. Kempty Fall is a must visit place in mussoorie. We step down on the curvy roads to reach there from parking. Gondola is also available. There is Water Park too, where you can enjoy.

Gun Hill and the Mall road are additional benefits in mussorie while going to kempty. You can enjoy in Rishikesh and haridwar thoroughly while returning to Delhi. Since kempty is nearest fall from Delhi, people from Delhi and surrounding areas prefer this fall.It is known in the top 25 falls in India. We enjoyed the most and wish to go again in summers.
