Kausani is the part of bageshwar district in Uttarakhand State. It is a hill station. It is situated in a top of a hill whose one side is Boraro valley and another side is Katyuri valley. This place is connected via Road and The distance from delhi to kausani is near about 400 Kilometer. You can visit this place in any weather but avoid July, August, September. If you want to touch the himalaya, this is the best place to view himalaya in full range. Nights are cold. Hotels are easily available at reasonable rate. You can reach kathgodam via train - three trains are available from Delhi to kathgodam. then take a taxi to reach Kausani. It will take 4~5 Hours via taxi. Kausani is also a cantonment area. Don't forget to visit sarala ashram and the great poet Sumitranandan Pant museum. This is the land of pure and scenic beauty at its best.
