Munnar, a small hill station near cochin in kerala, is according to me the best hill station of india !! it is full of small n big waterfalls. There is also a small but very beautiful wild life sanctuary which is the last abode of the endangered Nilgiri goats.

The highest peak of South India ie Anai Mudi is also at that sanctuary. Its cool all through the year surrounded by mist. There is also not much rush as seen at other hill stations. You can also find elephants there. 

The whole hill station is covered with tea gardens !! you will also find 3-4 dams there n their lakes where u can enjoy boating including speed boats. The place is very pictureque !!
