Hey All,
It was an amazing trip to Kasauli while goin to Simla after my marriage on 27th jan 2006. We enjoyed our honeymoon in Goa & i was having 2-3 days in hand before joining office. So
we planned to go to Simla by car with my brother in law whoz married  has a lovely 1 yr old daughter.
We left on 9th feb early morning to celebrate my bro’n’law’s marriage anniversary in Simla with them.
We boarded from Delhi @ 0700 rhs 7  reached Chandigarh within reasonable time span. On the way we stopped at the PURAN’s dhaba in Ambala........Fundu food if you are Punjabi 7 enjoy having food.
We left for Kasauli after having done minute shopping for their lil daughter
We started off very well from KALKA & also got the chance to see that amazingtoy train from KLK to SIM
We reached Dharampur, that marks a diversion for Kasauli from the normal route to Simla. Time was around 4 pm & chill weather with the Thand surpassing us in a very shivering way.
We managed to get ourselves booked in the Himachal State Tourism Resort.........A Gudd Option.
He was askig for Rs, 1500 per night & ended at Rs 950......BARGAIN
We wer driing sicne morning hence we ordered for a roasted chicken along with soups, tea n other things. Left for an hr sleep...........that lasted for almost 4-5 hrs.........It was 10 pm 7 the entire city was eloped in darkness...........U cant see anybody out their in Kasauli.
No FOOD NOTHING.
We even approached the road side dhabas but ZERO. Localites from Kasauli told us that u can get food @ Dharampur that was 14 kms from Kasauli..........but the route was so dangerous  that we managed to sleep w/o food that night........& as sun rose the very next day we were out to the local dhabas to get the omlettes, boiled eggs..........

PLACE IS AWESOME.....SCENIC BEAUTY
BUT NO FOOD AFTER 9 PM.........
