Cheap Standard Karbonn Mobiles & Pathetic Service. Review on Karbonn Titanium S5 Plus

I had purchased Karbonn S5 series new brand handset couple of years ago for almost 12000 rupees. I had heard a lot about it and its features but when I personally experienced it I was very much impressed by its performance and the features offered for the said price. No sooner I made my decision to buy this product. After almost 6 months passed this mobile started showing its true colors by frequently hanging while multi tasking with apps. One fine day my display got shut and was not able to see anything. I was still Ok as the mobile was in a warranty period. I went to the nearest authorised Karbonn Service centre and handed over the mobile to service it. Post checking for almost half an hour the executives told me that the mobile need to go to Karbonn head office situated at Delhi and will take almost 2 months to come back. I was baffled and in a trapped situation. Still I managed and asked them to send it to Delhi. I waited for full 2 months and still there was no call about my mobile, hence I revisited the centre and asked them about the status to which they replied that it has still not come and may take another 15 days or so. I got my mobile almost after 20 days later which was ok at that stage. But then another issue cropped up after a month which was a touch pad issue. I was not able to type or the mobile was not able to recognise the finger touch and hence I again landed into a deep trouble. This time I again went to the service centre and explained them about this problem. They again rechecked it for 30 minuted almost and said the same thing that the mobile needs to be sent to Delhi HO and will take almost 2 months to get it back. I was stunned and didnt know what to do. In a 1 year period I hardly used 6-7 months for which the rest it was lying with the HO. Hence I would strongly not recommend this to you or anyone.
