What do you want when you go to buy a mobile phone? A means of communication or an electronic toy for your entertainment. If the second option is what you are looking for go for Karbonn Mobile, on the other hand if you are serious about the device as a mode of communication and treat it as your identity for other to get in touch with you. get something else, maybe a better brand. I have brought one Karbonn mobile and I swear to GOD that it will be the last one in my life or anyone who comes to me for advice.
If your device malfunctions and it takes 45 days to rectify (not only mine there are many many instances) it never can be a device of on which you can rely on. You can stop playing the android games for 45 days but stop talking / communicating? To a very conservative estimate more than 50% of their devices malfunction within 6 months of purchase if not earlier. I have tried to communicate to the seniors of the Service Centre, their seniors and even took this up to the Zonal Service Manager for East and North of Karbonn Mobiles. Result a BIG ZERO.
Inspite of paying the full amount while purchasing I had to beg to them to make my phone available as I will be out of Delhi for a month, but to no avail. The biggest concern none of them picks up the phone once they come to know your number, and you have to trick them to get through. GOD save me. I even have ResQ (one year extended warranty from Reliance) on this same handset and it is only 6 months now.
