MOTHER is not a mere relation ,she is an instituion,a name may be taken after GOD.so it feels good to write for mother’s day,bollywood has shown many aspect of a mother’s charecter in hindi movies since it came in existense,still there are some role ,which now become definition for the word MOTHER.

Deewar ,Hajar caurasi...,mother India, and many more are known well for their MOTHER’s role,In mother india ,Nutan played a mother’s role ,who do all the things to bring out her children and when one of the son goes againest the social norms,due to personal aminity ,she don’t hesitate to shoot her child .Like wise in Deewar ,mother loves her elder sonwho is indulge in illegal bussiness,knowing it she refuse to stay with him,but in film KARAN ARJUN its role is entierly different role.here is a MOTHER whoes selfbelieve,determination force the nature to come to her side ,and that’s why I choose to write on this movie.

Plot of Karan Arjun is simple there is a happyjamindar type faimly ,Durga (Rakhee) living with two sons Karan and Arjun (Salman and Sharukh) durjan singh ,the villian(amrish puri) kills the two brother and take all the property gives exile to durga ,then she keeps on making her self believe to such height that her killed son will come back and take revange ,she never boes down to atrocities of durjan and his supporters,and after long 20 years of humilation and pennury ,nature comes to her side and two young men find them as incarnation (double role)of two killed son of durga ,they comes to village ,meets RAKHEE and live to her expectations.

Director Rakesh roshan has made a tremendous movie ,a all time great ,his brother gave some super hit song as well there are two heroien too ,KAJOL and MAMTA KULKARNI ,but they are there for some duet song ,whole film revolve around rakhee she proves exellent and ofcourse the movie grips you emoyionally through out three hours
