The hospital gave an impression of a typical government hospital . Few years back my son had some issues and we were advised to go for child trust hospital in chennai .He was admitted .The ambiance of the hospital was full and fully confusing and found chaos everywhere . We were asked to wait in the casualty where we found all pediatricians were very young, might be freshers! We struggled to get a room. The doctor we consulted for him would visit the hospital twice a day and he treated him. The duty doctors doesn't know anything and they gave a least care since because my son was treated by other doctor. The duty doctors were not ready to obey our doctor. We were lost completely baffled between the cold war of the doctors. Since we had admitted our son, no idea about the doctors in out patient ward .We were asked to take some tests in the labs. The hospital have maximum all lab facilities but the lab attenders and the nurses were very very careless and rude. In my personal experience I found they had no special care in treating a child instead they were very lethargic and handled him roughly and they were adamant to kick the parents out of the lab whatever the situation may be! When we were accommodated in the casualty for a while, we found an infant literally dying but the hospital was very keen in just shifting the baby to the next hospital, just because they don' t want a child death in their hospital which would spoil their reputation. I felt very bad for the parents of the child standing outside, knowing nothing beliveing the doctor's in child trust would save their child. We were counting our days to run out of that haunting building and made thousands of apologies to my son. Finally they gave a horrible discharge summary in a hurry that would not be useful at all .Hospitals in small cities are much more better than this . Again, don't trust child trust!
