Music of Karan Johar’s films was something that I was eagerly awaiting, just like his movies. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have given this movie a different sound and beat. And they succeed to a great extent in doing so, coming up with a peppy and melodious score. They try to give us everything that is expected of KJ’s movies - a melodious title song, a soulful sad song, some peppy Punjabi numbers and as an icing on the cake, they come up with an ultra cool disco number.

My order of liking of songs is as below:

1) Mahive : A real Good Punjabi Peppy Number. Nice Lyrics and Catching beats.
2) Title Song: A really catchy and meaningful song. Excellent Lyrics and Music.
3) Pretty Woman: A cool song with mix of Indian and Western Music in it.

Rest all the songs are also good.
Over all the movie also is good except that I think that the end could have been better. The present one is also good but still could have been better.
