This is my first review where I am giving 1 star. This is because this is definitely one of the worst films I have ever seen.
I knew since I heard this film was being made, that it would be bad
and I was true.

There is no story. All it is  is that Dev (SRK) is frustrated with his life because he injured his leg in an accident 3 years ago just after receiving a lucrative football contract. His wife, Rhea (PZ) is a career woman, and earns more than Dev something which he cannot take, and they have arguments quite a lot. On the other side, there is Rishi (AB jr), who loves his wife Maya (Rani) but who does not love him.

Then, Dev and Maya meet after 3 years, they had met just before Dev’s accident, and fall in love Karan Johar style. Then the story gets even more boring than it already was, and I remember falling asleep for 5 minutes just because I could not bear to watch or listen to this B-Grade film.

The Music is OK. The title song and Tumhi Dekho Naa are awesome. The others are plain average. Where’s the Party Tonight is one of the worst dance numbers I have ever heard. Rock and Roll Soniye is horrible.

Does Karan Johar not know that football is called soccer in the US. Perhaps he thinks we Indians would not know. He should wake up and start making films for us, Indians and not for NRI’s.

On to the performances. Rani Mukherjee is a brilliant actress but her role is awful and her acting in this film is not upto the mark. I don’t know what happned to her in this film, but I guess like other people in this film, they were expecting it to become a super-hit when it released so they did not bother.
I was not expecting much from Shah Rukh Khan, i expected him to do his usual KJ type acting but SRK gave a brilliant performance. His was the only good performance of the film, he was really good.

Amitabh Bachchan had nothing to do. He was average in what he had. Abhishek Bachchan again proves he cannot stand up to super-stars such as SRK as SRK destroyed him in this film just like Hrithik destroyed him in D:2. He was again poor. Preity Zinta had nothing to do, and I am glad because she really annoyed me in this film. She was awful.

The film crashed in India after the initial 10 day hype. Of course it just about managed to get to hit status because of the initial hype, but I am happy that Karan Johar  now knows that he actually needs to make good films. Of course it was a blockbuster overseas but what else do you expect.

The only good things about this film were: SRK’s performance, Tumhi Dekho Naa and the title song.

Final comments, please don’t waste your time watching this Horror flick.
