I have lived in Bangalore for two years and commuted a lot in buses. Bangalore's weather now is not what it used to be 4-5 years ago. It has become really hot with temperature touching 40 degrees now. Had it not been for Volvo AC buses, traveling in Buses would have been a nightmare owing to long traffic jams and too much population and pollution.
Volvo buses are very fast and have more frequency than normal buses. Ticket is priced high but if it were cheap, it would become local bus service only. Many a times staff misbehaved over change but that's okay I've seen nice conductors also. Sometimes in a few buses, AC doesn't work and you feel like you've been ripped off for AC service that didn't work and it became all the more suffocating.
But I would still travel in Volvo bus if I have to.
