1) There is nothing such as a "Performance Development & Review" done before an employee is given appraisals after completing each year at Justdial.
A manager won't discuss employee's performance and areas of improvement during appraisals, employee's appraisal will happen only if he/she is in the favoritism circle of the manager. And unfortunately if the employee is not in the managers list, the maximum salary appraised is 10%.
2) Employees have to ask HR to provide Salary Slips, they don't provide it upfront. (The only company AFAIK)
3) An employee can opt for PF regardless of the amount of Salary drawn. Also, if he/she opt for PF, employers contribution is deducted from the Salary which is a hidden deduction and not displayed in Salary Slips.
4) Sick Leaves / Casual Leaves expires at the end of the year, there is no option of en-cashing or carrying them forward to the next year.
5) After 3 years of joining, HR may come back to an employee and ask for Education / Previous employment documents,
6) There are two Salary cycles. Some employees get their Salary on last day of every month, others get on 7th of every month (Again, the only company AFAIK)
I've many more to write but don't have much time, will post more of these later in the comments below. Just wanted to share my experience so that people think twice before taking up an offer from Justdial.
