Cons:
Plates are too small. Slightly Expensive.

Just Around The Corner or JATC as it is known for short, is one cool hang out or good food joint! Located right across the St. Teresa’s School in Bandra, this place is a ’’must go to’’
if you wanna have a good time!

JATC’s USP is that it is Mumbai’s very first delicasteen, a popular type of American restaurant that demands self service and a layout wherein you pick your food in a tray and pay for it at the counter. Not only that, JATC is a part of the Mars Group and belongs to none other than the Mumbai Restaurant Revolutionary-Sanjay Narang.

JATC’s specialty is its salads! You can choose from a regular (Rs.125) or a side order (Rs.70)and fill up your plate with the umpteen vegetarian or non-vegetarian varieties available! There are 6 different types of exclusive dressings to add to them! My favorite dressing is the Ranch, which has a delightful flavor! The salads too are exotic-Like the Spinach & Mushroom, Chicken & Herb, American Corn, Green Peas & Cottage Cheese, Pasta & Ham, Mayonnaise and Eggs and the amazing coleslaw! The salads are fresh and cool and quite a meal within themselves!
However, you’re allowed only a single serving!

There are two soups of the day available too, a vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Both are made with two or more main ingredients and are nourishing and nutritious and yet delicious.

There are Hot Meals available at a price of Rs.150. You have almost 10 different varieties of main course dishes to choose from which include vegetarian and non-vegetarian and Chinese and Indian cuisine.

There are plain and grilled sandwiches & super melts available too with different fillings like the Chicken Jungli, Tuna Fish, Mushroom & Cottage Cheese, all costing 80Rs.

The burgers too are superb and a 100 times better than McDonald’s but are twice the price!

There is a selection of deserts, milkshakes and types of coffees too. The Gooey Brownies (Rs.45) are a favorite here but should be warmed up and eaten with cold, Vanilla ice cream!

The decor is simple yet elegant. There are posters of American teen idols with catch captions on the walls. There is a stack of popular Indian and International magazines and newspapers to browse through too. There are hordes of celebrities that haunt the place regularly too. The atmosphere is cheerful and trendy and makes you feel the same!
