With ref to info from my close relative living in UK based on his viewing advt on Horlicks for children, close on the heels of advt release in TV media and concerned people challeging the claim for proof
I would like to know from people who are closely associated with the Junior Horlicks on the "Taller, sharper & stronger" -manthra as advt in the Indian media, as to why the same advt when introduced in UK, after challenge at the Court, withdrew the advt., mentioning it was prepared for "India & Bangaladesh" and wrongly advertised in UK. The reason given was that some specific additives given in the health drink are banned in UK and hence it was withdrawn.
Is the above true & as to the ingredients which were banned at UK are now whether being used in India on this brand. It is better understood by all parents to know the facts in detail as it is the matter of growing children who should not be affected in their earlier growth phase, by the peer pressure of parents.
