At a time when children and adults both prefer using iPads and Kindle to read a book.sorry an E-book, it is extremely important to get a child into the habit of reading a physical book at an early age. One cannot deny the old world charm attached to reading a book compared with reading an E-book.
It is a good move and decision to join a local library and take home some old classics or books that challenge the intellect from time to time. Another benefit is that you get to meet other people and forge friendships and relationships.
Let us not be so dependent on technology, which in excess can be bad. It could lead to harming your eyes and also disturb your sleep patterns. it is highly recommended to join a book club or library. Sift through a search engine or consult the yellow pages to find a library or a book club closer to you or in your locality. Don't forget to take along your family to the library as they will find that there is something for everyone.
