Johnson and Johnson's baby oil is basically mineral oil. It's got a light scent to it, probably done so by the manufacturer to trick your baby into thinking you are doing something pleasant to him or her when using this product on their backside to help prevent diaper rashes. However, this baby oil isn't limited to use on infants - since the youngest member of my household just turned twelve, my brothers and I have had to concoct creative uses for the bottles of baby oil that inevitably emerge from long-forgotten storage places in the bathroom cabinet and the top of the refrigerator.
Johnson and Johnson Baby Oil also works well for removing make-up that has smudged under your eyes. Just dip a cotton swab in some oil and wipe away the smudged make-up.
For a really good moisturizer for your scalp, warm some J & J oil up and massage into your scalp. Leave on for 30-45 minutes and then shampoo. It also works well on a baby's scalp when they get that ever annoying cradle cap.(Which is a severe drying of the scalp, which causes the baby's scalp to flake and itch.) Just massage it into your baby's scalp and leave on for the day, until the next bath, then wash out with J & J baby shampoo. It usually works the very first time you use it.
