Flying by Sahara Airlines is really a refreshing experience, it feels like the entire staff is there working exclusively for U(me). I think they work on the philosophy of treating each of their customers as they are THE only customers on board.

Last month I has a chance to fly them twice one of the longest flights in the country i.e. Mumbai- Bhubaneshwar and both ways the experience was truly amazing. Right from the time I entered the air port till the time I left the building, after completing the flight they took good care of me and also of all the other passengers like me.

The difference was visible in the coaches they use to ferry the passenger from the terminal to the aircraft which is obviously air conditioned to the courtesy of the staff who are involved in security duty. They do their duty dillegently but at the same time they are very courteous as if they are happy to serve you as an individual.

The courtesy level are kept up in the aircraft and all the demands be it for an extra bottle of water or reading material are met with alacrity. Their onboard auction scheme is a winner. One actually get to pick up a lot of stuff right from designer watches to wills lifestyle coupons and I bid to Wills Lifestyle coupons both ways and won a handsome amount of coupons which really left me thrilled.

The best service experience was at bhubaneshwar airport where as soon as I walked in I was escorted to the counter and my luggage checked in with out a fuss. I was enrolled into the frequent flyer plan immediately(though the card is yet to arrive) and given the seat of my choice where I can really stretch given my height.

The food served was great and so was the channel music though in a two hour flight I got to hear a lot of songs twice but the overall experience was great. AS I had ato catch my next flight from Mumbai with a difference of less than 45 mins I requested one of the ground personnel to collect the coupons on my behalf and it saved a lot of my time, and the luggage too came out really fast. actually even before I reached.

Then I changed flights and boarded an IA flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad and I could feel the difference right from the coach to the flight attendants, inspite of total absence of any reading material and frequent requests I never got to see that extra newspaper I requested.
