JetLite .. the thought of it made me feel good. The sound of "Jet" made me feel like I was to be on a flight worth its name. But alas, JetLite is worser than even other low cost airlines. The check-in counter is not anything much to talk about. The service is only so-so. The flight attendants are comparitively better. The food is also not up to the mark. Why do they have to serve any food when they cant keep up with its standards? The food is very cold. I know one cannot possibly serve the food steaming hot. But definitely, the food seems to have been lifted straight off the fridge and served. Well.. I would say , all this is ok. But, to top it all, the icing on the cake is their seating-leg space. Any journey on an average takes about 2 hours and one would want his seating to be at least comfortable, if not luxurious. But here one has to really cramp himself into his seat. It becomes difficult for elderly and also even an average body-weight person. I have travelled a lot on many other low cost airlines. The leg space in all these airlines is good. I fail to understand why JetLite compromises on leg space! I certainly wouldnt recommend JetLite unless they improved on their leg space seating arrangement.
