I am A Mohanty and had booked ticket in Air Sahara to fly from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar. While the flight from Mumbai to Kolkata some how reached after 5 hrs and stoppages at Lucknow, Patna(Bahrat Darshan), on arrival at Kolkata I was surprised to find the flight to Bhubaneswar was cancelled. I was told by air sahara people happily that I will get full refund of the amount.  They came with an excuse that I was not reachable on my mobile. It won’t be otut of place to mention that at the time of booking the ticket I had provided my postal address, email ID, residence/office telephone numbers as well as two mobile telephone numbers. Still then they failed to intimate the news of cancellation of the flight. The flight was not cancelled for any technical reason, it was re routed to fly from Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad instead of Kolkata to Bhubaneswar. probably they got more pasengers and more income, but what happened to the passengers who had booked tickets long back? Had I booked the ticket more than one month in advance to get refund half way. Some how I got a seat in air deccan at a higher cost and complete my journey.
