What do you expect from an airliner? If its taking you from place A to place B at a reasonable rate and good comfort without much ado and headache, Id give near full marks to Indias leading domestic airliner.
I must say Jet airways is definitely one among the best in the industry. I have travelled by many airliners in the world the world and had heard from many of my friends experiences in different countries. Comparing them all, I find Jet airways standing right at the top in terms of quality of service and approach to the customer. Right from the check-in clark to the smiling air hostess saying good bye, I always had good experiences. This is almost incomparable with our national carriers and better than many a domestic airliner around the world!
So far I have experienced better service only from Singapore airlines. Air India was the most pathetic sharing that position with Australias Quantas. Once my friend had a nice experience in an Air India flight. He wanted a glass of water and switched on the attention light. Did not take much time before an air hostess noticed it. She came running, (just too service minded we thought), but switched the light off and disappeared leaving us open mouthed!
Once in Mumbai Airport, even though we had tickets for a later flight, we wanted to go by an earlier one. The jet airlines staff showed immense customer orientation when they allowed us to board the flight even though we were late and flight was ready to go. At every corner there was an airline staff waiting for us to show us the way!
I think this is what we mean when we say good service!
