There is no doubt that after Jet Air started flying, the air travelers got a bit value for the money.
I would not venture comparing Jet with any government run organization as the government run institutions have its limitations like the unions etc…However the situation is fast changing

I would like to bring to your attention one recent situation…After the 9/11 many international flights have increased their security and because of this the flights are late…this also results in late ETA and missing connection flights…

And the same thing happened to my family on 22nd Dec 2001.The CX flight from U.K. was late to arrive in Dubai and so the Dubai -Mumbai flight too took off late resulting in late arrival in mumbai…my family was to fly by Jet Airways to Bangalore by the 6.40[morning flight], which they missed…
On arrival to the domestic terminal, they approached the Jet Air staff and told them of the situation.but all that the Jet Air staff cld do was to put them on waiting list…for the next flights…this went on till afternoon and my family was almost got worried that they will be forced to spend the night in mumbai airport.

For a change however, when they approached Indian Airlines, they accommodated them in the J-Class and by 7.30 p.m. they landed in Bangalore…
I have no doubt that this cld have been handled by Jet Air in a better way…but my family felt that the staff was too busy or preoccupied with other matters that they found no time to see our difficulties.

I do not condemn Jet Air…But also want to insist that there is no end to improvement…
